Hambidge is a 600-acre creative residency in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northeast Georgia, operating since 1934. Residents receive a private studio cottage on the forested property with kitchen facilities. The landscape — waterfalls, wildflower meadows, old-growth hemlock — is the defining feature. Hambidge accepts artists across all disciplines and career stages. Residency fees are subsidized and need-based fellowships cover the full cost for many residents.
