Krakow AIR

Krakow AIR (Artist in Residence) is run by the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery of Contemporary Art in Krakow, one of Central Europe's most culturally rich cities. The program hosts 6–8 international artists per year for 2-month residencies with a private studio, apartment, stipend, and production budget. Krakow's extraordinary preserved medieval center, its proximity to Auschwitz, and its vibrant student-driven cultural scene create a context that is simultaneously beautiful, heavy, and intellectually alive.
