About this Residency

Located in a renovated grain elevator and barn complex in the hamlet of Wassaic in the Hudson Valley, the Wassaic Project offers 8-month residencies to 8 emerging artists per year. Residents receive free studio space (including massive former grain silos), subsidized housing, and participate in the annual Wassaic Summer Festival. The program is known for fostering adventurous, large-scale work.
