Beirut Art Residency

Beirut Art Residency (BAR) is an independent, non-profit residency in the Karantina district of Beirut. Despite Lebanon's ongoing crises, BAR continues to operate as a vital space for international and regional artists, hosting 3–4 artists at a time for 1–3 month stays. The program provides a private studio, shared accommodation, and curatorial support. Beirut's position at the crossroads of the Arab world, Mediterranean, and the West — and the raw intensity of life in the city — make this one of the most stimulating contexts for an artist residency anywhere.
