Rimbun Dahan

Rimbun Dahan is a private arts center set on a 14-acre estate of tropical gardens, traditional Malay timber houses, and contemporary architecture 30 minutes north of Kuala Lumpur. The residency program — one of Southeast Asia's most established — hosts 3–4 artists for 3-month stays. Residents live in beautifully designed studios surrounded by rainforest. The program has a particular strength in connecting visiting artists with Malaysian and Southeast Asian arts communities. Housing and studio are provided free; a small stipend covers living costs.
